This event is put on by our mostly volunteer non-profit organization (The LIVIN Foundation) to benefit our mission of suicide prevention. It will never be the biggest festival in town, but hopefully it will be one of the most IMPACTFUL. After all, it's not just a music festival - it's #LIVIN and we want YOU there with us! We are a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to prevent suicide by creating quality connections through everyday conversations about mental health, by way of programs and partnerships. We can’t change the past, but together we can affect the future! We host 2 annual events called Wheat Trail Festival in July & The LIVIN Music Festival in September which both help to fund our outreach programs such as our retreats for individuals and families who have been affected by a loss by suicide. Choose a scenic 5K or 10K (run, walk, or bike) on paved trails with beautiful views of Orono Lake and conservation area. Kids can enjoy a fun, non-timed Youth Color Run. This family-friendly gathering celebrates mental health awareness, reduces stigma around mental illness, and honors those lost to suicide — all while building community through movement, remembrance, wellness vendors, and kid-friendly activities.
